Mini-Haul!

Hey Everyone!
I went to Big Lots today and picked up 3 things. I decided I'd show you because 2/3 things I really like, and I'll do mini-reviews as well.

First thing I picked up was a lipstick. All it says on the bottom is the name and Maybelline, so at least we know the brand! The lipstick is in "A34 Born With It." Now, I did a little research and found out that so many products are in this shade! It really surprised me. This shade also came out as a lipstick in the color sensational collection. The shade though is slightly lighter than the old one that I have. To me, this is a perfect nude! It's a light peachy pink color with a very strong gold shimmer to it. The gold shimmer really makes it feel like a coral. I love colors that seem to change according to location and setting, but really don't. I really like this color for the beach, but it is also a great everyday color! The consistency is very smooth and creamy, but does bring out the dryness in your lips. The pigmentation is on the sheer side, but you can build it up :)

Next 2 items I picked up were by eyeslipsface...E.L.F. Firstly I got a 2-in-1 conditioning lip gloss in Perfect Pink. I think they should rename this gloss to Perfect Sheer. This did not reach my expectations at all. It looks pretty nice when you swatch it, and the color is great in the tube, but when you apply it to your lips the color just disappears. The color is a deep hot pink w/ silver shimmer. It has the slightest bit of purple to it, which makes it seem a small amount of a berry-ish color. I had no problem getting the color out of the tube, but I have heard others had. Just squeeze the middle of the tube! Easy ;) As far as the product goes, it is very thick, which makes it sticky and gooey. This is definitely not the best lip gloss on the market, and I won't be repurchasing this.

The last item I picked up was an E.L.F. eyeshadow. I was very impressed by this. The pigmentation is really good and the eyeshadow is very smooth. The color is in Pebble. I really do like this color. It's a medium brown with grey. There really isn't too much to say about this! I really love it!

Over all pretty good purchase!
